Bryce was living in Wollongong when he secured a job with New South Wales Education Department as an Aboriginal Education Assistant at a couple of schools in the area.
Bryce worked with the Education Department for 18 years before retiring and moving to live on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
A few years ago Bryce moved to Port Macquarie to be ‘back home’ on Country and where his family are.
Bryce’s interests are the NRL (The Broncos), boxing and he loves to paint contemporary and traditional Aboriginal art.
On returning to Port Macquarie, Bryce has been painting Country – the rivers, lakes, and mountains up and down the New South Wales coastline. He has also started a project to clean up the Purfleet Aboriginal Cemetery.
